UK Top 40: 29th June 1985
This week we are midway through the decade of decadence, with a chart from June 1985. Harold Faltermeyer's Axel F was the lead track from Beverly Hills Cop, The Commentators' novelty track made fun of the great British sport of cricket, Madonna and Phyllis Nelson's songs were being played at the end of every school disco, "The Boss" had a double A side single out to accompany his album, and Sister Sledge proved that they weren't just disco divas from the 70s!
